It was both a birthday celebration and a re-election kickoff for Congressman Neil Abercrombie
Monday morning on his 70th birthday, Congressman Abercrombie officially filed papers to run for his 11th term.
Monday night hundreds of friends and supporters celebrated both events at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
“I feel great. I couldn’t feel better. A whole bunch of people came to say hello and its wonderful to be back in Hawaii,” said Abercrombie.
And talk about a special gift, how about a personal birthday wish from a candidate for president?
